Piou Piou and Ourson lessons

It's almost time for your children to get out on the slopes, but before they do, they're preparing tranquilly and at their own pace in our kindergartens.

Piou Piou and Ouson lessons
Children aged 4 to 7 who have obtained Piou-Piou, Blanchot or Sifflote, will be enrolled into Piou-Piou level. 
Children who have obtained Garolou level can continue their progress in our kindergartens, in Ourson level, preparing gently to explore the slopes.

Supervised by instructors with tried and tested teaching skills, they will learn to ski while having fun in a safe playground.

With their little friends on the slopes, your children will outdo themselves, discovering the slopes under the watchful eye of their instructor.

We answer your questions

The website tells me that the courses are full. What can I do?
It is highly likely that the service you want will be sold out.
Of course, we have other times and services to offer you: please consult other times of the day.
How is my child looked after?
Please arrive 15 minutes before the start of the lesson at the Club Piou-Piou in your area to meet the instructors. Your child will need to be equipped with their ski gear (skis, ski boots and helmet) to make his or her first runs!

You don't need to go to the esf office, or even show your lesson card to the instructors: they've got the enrolment list with them!
Can parents attend their children's sessions at Club Piou Piou kindergarten?
It's only human to want to stay "hidden" to keep an eye on your child, but your little one will spot you sooner than you think, and that's likely to disrupt their learning and prevent them from having lots of fun with their new friends!
How does the medal ceremony take place?
Friday will be devoted to the presentation of medals, rewarding the progress made by your child in the company of Piou-Piou for the little ones.
You can attend this convivial event by coming to Club Piou-Piou 15 minutes before the end of the last session!
What ski pass do I need?
  • Your child does not need a ski pass for the Piou-Piou level. For your information, lift passes for the La Rosière sector are free for children under 5, on presentation of proof of age. For full details of ski lift pass prices, go to La Rosière.ski
  • For the Ourson class: your child will need a ski pass during the week. The instructors will inform you the day before if you need to buy a ski pass.
How many children are in each group?
  • Piou Piou level: one instructor will be in charge of a maximum of 6 children. Several groups can ski at the same time in Club Piou-Piou. "Garden helpers", in addition to the team of instructors, will help your little ones learn to ski.
  • Ourson level: there is a maximum of 8 children per class.
Is insurance included in the price?
No, insurance is not included in the price.
